Three Gorges of the Yellow River (Linxia, Gansu province)

Located in Yongjing county, the three gorges are Bingling Gorge, Liujia Gorge and Yanguo Gorge, respectively. The scenic area boasts a variety of natural sceneries as well as of cultural relics, including the Stone Forest of Bingling, the Liujia Gorge Reservoir, the Dinosaur National Geopark, the Bingling Temple Grottoes and Taiji Lake. Of the aforementioned, the Bingling Temple Grottoes are on the list of the first batch of immovable cultural relics under state protection.

Best time to visit: June to September
