Li Huidong, the secretary-general of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), visited Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Fujian Province on July 20, and exchanged his views on hosting a forum on the development of Pingtan and establishing the first mainland branch of the Taiwan-based Zhongshan Bank.

The development of Pingtan has long been emphasized by the RCCK, a registered minor political party in China. Li spoke of establishing a cross-Straits youth startup valley and an arbitration center, as well as hosting a forum on the development of Pingtan and opening a branch of the Zhongshan Bank, which has been in planning since 2015.

Zhang Zhaomin, secretary of the Party working committee of the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, expressed his gratitude to RCCK for their continuing support. Zhang said that the forum will focus on promoting cross-Straits economic, social, cultural and educational exchanges and mutual development.
