Patient building of Pingnan hospital moves to new site

The removal ceremony of the newly-completed patient building of the hospital of Pingnan county, Fujiain province, took place recently. County leaders Zheng Jianfeng, Huang Qiaoxing and Su Yuefeng attended the ceremony.

The building covers 1,428 square meters. Its area of construction is 8,180 square meters, and it has a total investment of 26 million yuan ($4.2 million). It is the central government’s biggest investment for people’s livelihood in Pingnan.

The building is clean, spacious and well-equipped with medical facilities. It has departments of gynecology and obstetrics, surgery and orthopedics. It also has rooms for anesthesia and operations.

The number of beds for departments of gynecology and obstetrics, surgery and orthopedics total more than 200. They can help solve overcrowding, especially in the department of medicine and gynecology.

The completion of the building will be a great convenience for patients and will be good for the hospital’s development.
