Jinjing Christ Church, built in 1933, is located in Jinjing town of Jinjiang. The church complex, consisting of a chapel, commemoration hall and subordinate buildings, was funded by church members. The commemoration hall was donated by Cai Jianzhong and Xu Yuehua, in remembrance of their three daughters who passed away at an early age. The Jinjing church made great contributions to education in the local area. The church members opened up several charitable schools, including Yuying School and Southern Fujian Bible College. Many students graduated to become preachers and worked for churches in southern Fujian. The existence and development of Jinjing Church for almost a century has proved the inclusiveness of Jinjiang culture.
