Liancheng county in Fujian province recently passed an expert evaluation for its plan to build a cycling city and paths around Guanzhai Mountain. Based on the plan, Liancheng will transform itself into a tourist city combining cycling, leisure and recreation.

The cycling city will include a sports park with cycling paths around Guanzhai Mountain, a bicycle museum, three cycling paths stretching over 80 kilometers in total and four service stations.

Centered around Guanzhai Mountain and Liancheng town, the city also plans to integrate the industries of nearby towns and villages into the creation of its cycling tour.
