The city of Fuzhou, Fujian province, will issue work permits, or certificates, to experts from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao working in Fuzhou, Taiwan.cn reported.

The first six experts to get the certificates include two from Taiwan and four from Hong Kong.

According to policies, experts may get the higher-level A type certificate, or the B type certificate that is issued to professionals in specific areas, including science, education, economics, and technology.

Experts with a B certificate can enjoy privileges such as priority in entry and exit procedures, local insurance, Green Channel for medical services, preferential treatment for children's education, application for driving license, opening bank accounts and applying for mortgage loans. Experts with an A certificate can also purchase or rent commercial housing and apartments.
