The entities which can set up foreign-invested enterprise in China and modes of foreign companies

In accordance with the stipulations of “Administrative measures on joint-venture established in China by foreign enterprise or individuals”, the following entities are entitled to set up foreign-invested joint ventures in China: 1) more than two foreign enterprises or individuals; 2) foreign enterprise or individual and Chinese people, legal person or other organizations.

In accordance with Chinese laws, the following two modes of foreign-invested enterprises can be set up: foreign-invested joint ventures and foreign-invested company limited.
