2013 Chinese Sports Culture & Sports Tourism Exposition to be held in November
Updated: 2013-10-15

Hosted jointly by the General Administration of Sport, the National Tourism Administration, the Chinese Olympic Committee and the People's Government of Anhui Province, the 2013 Chinese Sports Culture & Sports Travel Exposition will take place at the Wuhu International Conference and Exhibition Center and Olympic Sports Center from November 1 to 3.

For the first time, the Chinese Sports Exposition and Chinese Sports Culture Exposition will be combined into one. It is also the first time for either exposition to be held in a non-provincial capital city.

Themed around letting sports culture lead sports travel in a healthy and positive direction, the exposition will welcome Xu Haifeng (a famous Chinese pistol shooter) as its endorser and Wu Jingyu (a well-known Chinese taekwondo practitioner) as its sports culture ambassador.

Taking the construction of the Southern Anhui International Cultural Tourism Demonstration Area as an opportunity, the exposition is determined to fully display domestic and international sports culture and the current trend and achievements of the sports tourism industry. It will also promote the integration of sports culture and tourism as well as other related industries.

The exposition area will be of over 50,000 square meters and will be divided into sports culture, sports tourism and general areas. Over 500 estimated institutions and enterprises and over 100,000 people will attend the exposition.
