The Peony Health Tourism Festival in Bozhou, Anhui province, started an activity to find a mascot on March 13. The activity will last until April 10.
The tourism festival centers on peonies and how to maintain health, featuring local history, geography and culture. The mascot should be simple, glamorous and profound.
The collection activity is jointly organized by the Bozhou tourism administration, Bozhou Association of Literature and Art, Bozhou Youth League Committee, and Bozhou culture and tourism development company. Five entries will win nominee awards and prizes totaling 300 yuan ($48) each; the winner will be awarded 5,000 yuan ($806).
