The planned Hefei Metro Line 2 is undergoing a detailed geological survey, an important part of preparatory work prior to construction.
Every section should go through at least preliminary and detailed surveys before construction, according to Hefei Urban Rail Transit Co.
The detailed survey of Metro Line 2 will be conducted in batches. Qianshan Road station in the first batch completed the detailed survey before construction. The second batch, stretching from Xiyuan station in the west to Tongling Road station in the east, covers a total of seven stations and eight intervals. It will start construction soon, a person related with the company said.
