On the northeastern side of the Lieshan District Government Office, Nanhu Lake was originally called the Lieshan Water Park. It used to be a wasteland full of water as a result of the ground sinking when coal was excavated, with an area of 4.7 square km. In the 1990s, it was gradually changed into a comprehensive leisure and tourist destination.
