A ceremony celebrating the 7 millionth Jiefang truck rolling off the assembly line was held at the assembly shop of FAW Jiefang Automotive Co Ltd in Changchun, the capital of northeast China's Jilin province, on Nov 30.

The 7 millionth Jiefang truck is a white Jiefang J7 equipped with the FAWDE ALL-WIN 6DM3 Engine.

The Jiefang truck, the country's first domestically made truck, was launched in 1956. Since then, the brand has sold millions of vehicles and has expanded its presence to a number of countries and regions worldwide.

The FAW Jiefang Automotive Co Ltd, a truck subsidiary of China's leading automaker FAW Group, set a goal of selling 319,800 vehicles in 2018.
