Magnificent is a word often used to describe Taiwan's east coast. Instead of soft sand, wind battered rocks stand on the beach, constantly engulfed by rising tides.

Taiwan Island is surrounded by ocean on all sides, but its many sections of coastline have their own distinguishable features.
