Students take part in coming-of-age ceremony

Students kowtow to pay tribute to Confucius, who is regarded in China as "the teacher of all teachers", during a coming-of-age ceremony in Jinan, east China's Shandong Province, June 19, 2011. Some 30 high school graduates participated in a traditional coming-of-age ceremony to mark their entry into adulthood by putting on caps or hairpins. In ancient China, caps and hairpins are adornments strictly reserved for grown men and women respectively.[Photo/Xinhua]
