Edited by the Chinese Academy of Arts, the book series Calligraphy of the People's Republic of China has been released by the Jiangxi Fine Arts Publishing House.
Containing 1.8 million characters and some 1,000 pictures, the six-volume Calligraphy of the People's Republic of China is a comprehensive study of the development of Chinese calligraphy after the founding of New China in 1949. It features works, research, education, dissemination and exchange related to calligraphy.
