Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco) said its revenue in the first half of 2010 rose 113.61 percent year-on-year to 59.78 billion yuan and its net profit was 531 million yuan, Yicai.com reported Tuesday.

Although the company turned losses into gains compared to last year, the nation's biggest maker of aluminum swung to a loss in the second quarter again after China raised rates for power.

Chalco posted a net loss of 96 million yuan in the second quarter, according to numbers derived from the company's half-yearly statement released Monday night. That's the fourth loss in six quarters.
