人均GDP“翻兩番” to quadruple the per capita GDP
胡錦濤同志在在十七大報告中談到實現(xiàn)全面建設小康社會奮斗目標的新要求時說, 在優(yōu)化結構、提高效益、降低消耗、保護環(huán)境的基礎上，要實現(xiàn)人均國內生產總值到2020年比2000年翻兩番。

"We will quadruple the per capita GDPof the year 2000 by 2020 through optimizing the economic structure and improving economic returns while reducing consumption of resources and protecting the environment," Hu said at the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
