Victoria Beckham is getting into men's trousers after launching plans for a new line of denim jeans.

The former Spice Girl admits she has always been a huge fan of jeans on men - and now she wants to have a go at designing them.

And she's using husband David as her muse: "I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops - exactly how you see David when he's out in his jeans and T-shirt.

"Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang!

"I didn't want anything too tight around the crotch. That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from (Beckham's line) dVb."

The singer-turned-fashion icon's Japanese denim jeans won't come cheap - they'll retail for more than GBP100 - but fans will know they've got something that has her personal touch.

She adds, "I'm a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I'm not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, 'Sell this perfume.' This is a real passion of mine."
