Longoria parker plans green home

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker and her husband Tony Parker have battled with builders to make their new home environmentally friendly.
The actress is having the couple's San Antonio, Texas, property made out of recycled wood and installed with solar panels.
And despite a series of problems that nearly brought the project to a standstill, the 32-year-old is determined to keep the house as green as possible.
She says, "Everything is going to be environmentally friendly. We are going to install solar panels for part of the house. All our water is recycled for the lawn for irrigation.
"It was a fight with out builders; a lot of people don't want change. But it's worth it."
