Actress Mischa Barton is becoming so obsessed with Russia while she prepares to film her next movie in the country, she's teaching herself how to speak the language.

The O.C. star will be flying to St Petersburg next month to film the currently unnamed project, and is readying herself for the role, she's driving her friends mad by constantly listening to a Russian language CD.

She says, "Any spare time I get, I put a Russian CD on. All I need to do is get a Russian accent but I'm fascinated by Russia."
