Christina Aguilera and White Stripes star Jack White stunned former US president and guests at his 60th birthday party in New York on Sunday night by jumping up on stage and joining the Rolling Stones.

Aguilera and White both duetted with the British supergroup during a special show at the Beacon Theater, which opened specially on a Sunday for Clinton and his pals.

Other guests at the Clinton gig after-party at the Gramercy Park Hotel included Courtney Love and movie producer Steve Bing.

Clinton and his family spent three days at the Gramercy Hotel, celebrating the landmark birthday.

Formal events at the hotel included a cocktail reception on Friday and complimentary spa treatments.

The Stones ended the celebrations with an intimate concert for 200 guests.
