The former "Dark Angel" star has replaced Lindsay Lohan, who suddenly quit the new movie "Bill."

Teen Queen Lindsay Lohan has abruptly walked out of the new indie "Bill" because she said that the film's first-time directors, Bernie Goldman and Melisa Wallack, weren't well known enough.

The film should begin shooting on Thursday in St Louis, Missouri, and "Sin City" star Jessica Alba is heroically entering the breach to portray a curvaceous saleswoman named Lucy who helps Aaron Eckhart's character get his life back on track.

The drama comedy, which also stars Amanda Peet, Timothy Olyphant, and Elizabeth Banks, is about a guy fed up with his job and married to a cheating wife.

Alba, who hosted MTV Movie Awards this year, is also working with the producers of "Bill" on the movie called "Awake." She also worked on sequels to "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four."
