touch and go landings是飛機(jī)著陸的一種方式，是指飛機(jī)著陸的時(shí)候，沒有完全著陸就立刻重新起飛。
touch and go已經(jīng)有400多年的歷史了，touch and go的使用不僅限于航空學(xué)中，大約在16世紀(jì)，它的字面意思解釋為：瞬間接觸后馬上離開或繼續(xù)前進(jìn)（to touch for an instant and then leave or move on）。 后來，touch and go被用來描述急燥的情緒（impatient temperament）。 到了19世紀(jì)，touch and go已經(jīng)有了我們現(xiàn)在常用的意思：危險(xiǎn)的，不穩(wěn)定的（dangerous or precarious），用來形容在災(zāi)難中死里逃生，例如兩艘船擦肩而過時(shí)的情景。
今天touch and go的意思是：危險(xiǎn)的；無把握的（risky or uncertain in situation），常用于形容談判、高難度的手術(shù)等。
例如：a touch and go situation（一觸即發(fā)的危險(xiǎn)形勢(shì)）
It was touch and go whether the doctor would get there in time.（醫(yī)生能否及時(shí)趕到那里是沒有把握的。）
