同事朋友聚會(huì)，少不了相互介紹。先生在向我介紹他的同事 Larry 時(shí)，說他可是個(gè)大忙人: “He is wearing two hats.” 我說，你開什么玩笑，他根本就沒戴帽子。
Larry 一直以笑作答，倒是先生察言觀色，知道我不懂，便幫我找下臺(tái)階。
原來，先生是指Larry在醫(yī)院某一部門擔(dān)任要職，除此之外，還有自己的生意，就是說 Larry 身兼兩職，而不是真的戴了兩頂帽子。
