I've lived in the countryside all my life. There have been a lot of changes there, but compared with cities, we have a long way to go. Many urbanites cannot imagine what poor villages look like. Every time I see new urban high-rises, a special feeling wells up in me: One building here can probably pay for a long stretch of paved road in the hinterlands.
