Michael Leung (left), 27, a Canadian-born
Chinese, celebrates his birthday with new friend Wen Li, in Beijing
December 14, 2005. Leung lost his bag, containing two passports, several
train tickets and more than US$3000, in Beijing in October. The bag was
found by Wen Li, an official with the city management supervision
authority, who returned it to police, who in turn contacted the Canadian
Embassy. Through the Embassy, Wen was able to give the bag back to Leung
in person, much to his delight. Leung and Wen's birthdays are only one day
apart, so Leung flew to Beijing from Canada so that the two could
