6月17日，由電影發(fā)行放映協(xié)會(huì)、中國(guó)城市影院發(fā)展協(xié)會(huì)、中國(guó)電影制片人協(xié)會(huì)共同發(fā)起倡議，決定將每周二定為電影院票價(jià)半價(jià)日，目前全國(guó)共有44個(gè)城市的168家影院同意并開(kāi)始執(zhí)行此倡議。

Movie goers across China will now only pay half price for tickets on Tuesday.

The "Half Price Tuesday Movies" will be jointly launched in 168 cinemas since July.

Any movie screening on Tueday will be half price without exception, even for new releases and blockbusters.

There move is to bring people back to the cinema on Tuesdays, where numbers are the lowest of the week.

Some cinemas in Beijing who began discounts in advance have seen an increase in audiences on Tuesday night.
