Ill-treated husband seeks help from women's group

A man who couldn't take his wife's insults and
beatings anymore turned to the provincial women's association for help on Monday
in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan Province, Dahe News reports.
Li, 46, who has several scars as proof of his wife's cruelty, asked the
association to safeguard his rights.
"She often finds fault with me, saying I'm not an able man,"Li complained to
the local women's association.
Luo, the director of the association, promised to help, saying the
organization protects men's rights as well if they are in jeopardy.
