Boss' divorce causes payment delay

Divorce of a boss has recently led to more than two months of payment delay
for a total of 144 workers in a glass factory in Guangzhou's Panyu District,
reports Southern Metropolis News.
And the total payment for the workers reaches more than 370,000 yuan
(US$44,578.31).
Lijing Glass Factory in Zhongcun Town of Panyu District used to be jointly
run by a local resident surnamed Zhong and his wife whose family name is Li.
But the wife went to local Panyu District People's Court to seal the factory
after they got a divorce in September. The court accepted Li's application and
sealed the factory temporarily.
Zhong then refused to pay the workers' income because his factory and bank
account have been frozen by the court in the wake of divorce.
Workers have sought help from local labour departments.
