Water system goes back 400 years

A complete underground aqueduct system built during the Ming Dynasty
(1368-1644) has been discovered in the Huizhou District in Anhui Province,
reports Xinhua News Agency.
Dating back more than 400 years, the well-designed system is evidence that
Huizhou was an economically and socially developed region in ancient China. It
was discovered when the government began exploring local tourism resources and
found some related records in very old books.
