Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo may not be able to make Portugal's friendly against Greece this weekend due to an ankle injury.

The Portuguese ace player strained his right ankle during Real' s 4-1 defeat at Sevilla on Sunday before he missed a commemorative match against Valladolid on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old winger was recommended by the club doctors to have a rest before receiving another evaluation of the injury on Thursday.

Euro 2004 host Portugal, playing Greece on Saturday, also takes on Kuwait on November 19.
