Plant clinic begins operating

Shanghai's first "plant
clinic" recently opened its doors to leafy patients, reports Oriental Morning
Post.
Experts at the clinic - something akin to a veterinarian's surgery, but for
vegetation - diagnose and treat problems plaguing potted house plants brought in
by concerned patrons.
Many kinds of professional pesticides and plant food are for sale as well.
Local gardening expert Wu Zhixing, the clinic's "Head Doctor", also makes
house calls to treat ailing plants.
