An exhibition entitled Ballet in Stamps is underway at the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing. On display are more than 700 stamps and philatelic items with the theme of ballet, issued by about 90 countries, as well as ballet stage photos, sculptures and paintings. The exhibition illustrates the art's development over hundreds of years from the European Renaissance to the present day and runs until April 6.
