The National Art Museum of China is hosting a modern calligraphy invitation show. On display are some 60 works by 10 veteran calligraphers from across the country. The museum will organize the exhibition annually to raise public awareness of the breakthroughs in the traditional art genre, says museum director Fan Di'an.
