New animation character of sensitiveness and innocence

Beijing-based artist Zhang Jing, 37, is bringing to town her artworks of a unique animation character named Diu Diu.

Zhang's solo exhibition, titled The Grand Show, include art forms of both paintings and sculptures of Diu Diu – the weak, heavyhearted and lonely character. Zhang places it in various fantasy settings to indicate the sensitiveness and innocence of her generation. Read more here.
