A photo exhibition themed Happy Chinese New Year - Celebrations Worldwide, was opened Thursday at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing and will run until Oct 9.

Over 100 photographs are on display, capturing moments of how people on five continents in the world celebrated the lunar Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, in February 2016.

The exhibition was jointly launched by the Bureau for External Cultural Relations under the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the International Cultural Exchange Center.
