The Saga Dawa Festival, which honors the life of Buddha, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 4th Tibetan month and is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated in Tibet. Buddhists on this day usually goes to temples, raise a prayer pole and light butter lamps.
