Several noted contemporary artists were invited to show their works inspired by the Silk Road, including Canadian artist David Lodge, Australian artist Peter Ciemitis, Thai artist Kamal, and Taipei artist Chen Hsientung. Their works on show include oil paintings, traditional Chinese ink and wash paintings and watercolor paintings.

Through the exhibition, visitors will be able to appreciate the profoundness of Chinese culture from different angles. Artists from different countries will expand a wilder cooperation and exchange pattern.
