Chinese singer-songwriter Zhang Mi released a new song, Blue Dream, in Beijing recently. Chinese pop group NZBZ is heard rapping in her song.

Zhang also announced that Blue Dream will be used as the theme song for the 2015 China National Food Safety Knowledge Competition, which kicks off by the end of the month and will run through August.

The singer shot to fame after winning a CCTV-organized singing contest in 1991. Ever since, she has worked for several TV series while also having a modeling career by the side. She now lives in Vancouver, Canada.
