2000s: Gifts for health
As the wheel of history rolled into the new century, Chinese people saw their livelihoods continue to rise. All kinds of health products and household appliances were listed as gifts. People also frequently sent luxuries such as cosmetics, jewelry and high-grade wine and tea to each other.
