In 1950s, Chinese danced to express their appreciation for the revolutionary victory and a new life; as time went by, people had started to ask why they dance and what they dance for. Dance in China was endowed with much more meaning. Nowadays, more people dance in public to express their feeling of happiness, freedom, and enthusiasm.
