The first Wang-Koo talks, held between Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits Chairman Wang Daohan (left) and Straits Exchange Foundation Chairman Koo Chenfu, took place in Singapore. It was the highest level talks to have taken place between the two sides of the Straits since 1949. Four agreements were signed to promote trade and people-to-people exchanges.
