Xinjiang mulls anti-terrorism laws

Legislation 'needed to deal with increasing number of attacks'
Anti-terrorism legislation is being considered by the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region this year, according to an official from the regional legislature.
It is the first time that anti-terrorism laws have been listed on the regional legislature's work plan, the official said.
