The majority of drug abusers in China are younger than 25 years old, an official with the China Food and Drug Administration said on Wednesday. Li Guoqing said at a news conference that among young people who abused drugs in 2012 some were minors in middle and primary schools. The information comes from a report monitoring drug abuse in China in 2012, which found that the majority of new drug abusers use synthetic drugs.
