Million mooncakes

People in Hong Kong dumped 1.79 million mooncakes last year, the combined length of which would be 91 times as long as the Tsing Ma Bridge, an environmental group calculated according to a survey conducted in August, Wen Wei Po reported. The group suggested people choose food with longer shelf lives or buy mooncakes with simple packaging as presents for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
