Numbers back on track despite European debt, lingering global lassitude

Germany's leading role in solving the recent sovereign debt crisis in Greece will not detract from its trade with or investment in China, said a senior official.

Bernd Pfaffenbach, Germany's secretary of economics and technology, told China Daily in an exclusive interview that such rising responsibilities would instead likely boost trade between Germany and China.
