Guangzhou - China Daily and the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee signed an agreement on Friday to launch an English-language supplement for the Asian Games scheduled for later this year.

According to the agreement, China Daily will publish a 16-page daily supplement for the duration of the 16-day games, which will kick off on Nov 12.

The organizing committee also signed cooperation agreements with other major domestic media, including People's Daily, Guangming Daily, and Guangzhou Daily on Friday.
