Ancient buildings a treasure for all

I just read about the achievements of Shan Jixiang and the State Administration on Cultural Heritage and their ongoing efforts to save historic buildings and architecture. They are protecting nearly 900,000 relics around China, which is an amazing feat.

As a history buff, I am very happy to see the administration's director succeed in preventing the destruction of historic sites. It's a very important and extremely daunting task protecting China's 5,000 years of historic locations, treasures, and artifacts.
