The US PGA Tour's hottest young stars, Anthony Kim and Camilo Villegas, have joined the field for next month's HSBC Champions event in Shanghai, adding extra spice to what was already a world-class line-up at Sheshan International Golf Club from Nov 6-9.

Both players surged into the top 10 in the world rankings for the first time in their careers in September thanks to impressive results during the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup play-off series.

Kim finished third at both the Tour Championship and the BMW Championship and in between set the tone for the United States' Ryder Cup victory with his inspirational partnership with Phil Mickelson, the defending champion of the Shanghai-based event.
