Beijing police yesterday rounded up 110 foreign and Chinese Olympic ticket scalpers in a series of raids across the city.

About 340 tickets were confiscated and all of the suspects were taken to police stations for questioning, Wang Wenjie, a senior police officer with the city's public security bureau, told China Daily last night.

Some of the alleged scalpers are from overseas, he said, but declined to give numbers.
